| My first (and last?) tattoo - planned for some time to commemorate sailing to the Marquesas. |

doing boat maintenance and repair and provisioning, we are getting in some much
needed R&R. We plan to explore
more Marquesan Islands as we work our way through French Polynesia to
Tahiti. We are allowed a maximum
of 3 month’s stay in French Polynesia.

ReplyDeleteAlways great to hear from you, Phil & Nancy! We just arrived in Fatu Hiva on Saturday late afternoon. Wow!!! BTW brewing my 2nd batch of "ginger beer" - recipe from another cruiser. Hard to beat something that requires simply water, sugar yeast and ginger and is ready in 3 days. Definitely won't get drunk off it, but it's refreshing and far cheaper than $2 for a Hinano.
DeleteIt took me several glances to realize that was not down the center of your back and that your right shoulder was not your right cheek. I had to let some fresh, cool air in - whew.
ReplyDeleteAhem... just WHAT cheek did you mean, Dave? The posterior would still meet my "can't be seen in an interview" criteria;). Yes, though, 'tis my neck and shoulder and back where the tattoo resides.
